Security by Design

Private & local-first

Designed from the ground up so that your data never touches third-party relay servers.

Loopback only (127.0.0.1)

The server binds strictly to the loopback interface on an ephemeral port. It cannot be accessed over your local network or the internet.

Per-launch authentication token

A fresh 32-byte cryptographically secure token is generated on every launch and stored in a file with POSIX 0600 permissions.

Pro-gated access

Bridge server execution requires an active LifeManager Pro subscription. Non-Pro requests are rejected immediately.

No raw attachment bytes

Only metadata (filenames, sizes, types) is returned to the model; private image and document bytes are never passed over MCP.

Destructive actions require confirmation

Permanent deletion calls strictly enforce confirm: true. Accidental deletions by autonomous agents are prevented.

Real-time in-app activity log

View every tool call, duration, client identity, and error state right inside Settings → AI clients, with one-click clear.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it work from my iPhone?
Not directly over MCP yet. The Mac app acts as the local MCP server and must be running on your Mac. However, any changes made by AI clients sync automatically to your iPhone via iCloud, and Siri / Shortcuts work on your iPhone.
Does Claude see my data?
Only what the tools return for the specific question you ask. LifeManager never uploads your database to third parties; queries run entirely locally against your Mac's private database.
Can I turn it off?
Yes at any time. Simply open Settings → AI clients in LifeManager and turn off 'Allow AI clients'. The listener port and all connections close immediately.
